The Beggar's Opera

I was thinking more and more about the questions that were asked whenever we had the class discussion on The Beggar's Opera. What I was thinking was that if a man ever treated me like that, I would never speak to him again. A man should know how to treat a woman, and if he doesn't know how to, then he doesn't deserve to have a relationship in the first place. Don't get me wrong though, because I know the treatment of one another should be mutual, but a woman likes to be courted. Another thing I was thinking is that guys should just keep it in their pants; because when they don't, all hell breaks loose. A woman wants to be asked to be married because a guy loves her, not because he got her pregnant and feels sorry for her. That's all for now I believe:)

Work.

So I recently got a job and man, it is not what I expected. I love being a cashier and talking to customers, but my feet were killing me last night! I want everyone to come in and eat there! The food is FANTASTIC! I hope I can get used to the late nights and the time away from my family, friends, and Simon:/

Versus on the Death of Kimberly Coulter

Kimberly Coulter was her name
Some people say that she plays some game

She was born in a hospital
Even though she was not very tall

She reached for goals that were very high
She wanted to someday touch the sky

When on stairs she will often trip
When she was dressed she liked to skip

Volleyball was the game she played
Very very very late she often stayed

She goes to church three times a week
It is Christ's face that she will seek

She has once lost a lot of weight
Even though she found her soul mate

When in Heaven she will rejoyce
With the epic outcome of her choice

She will see some again someday
In her bed she will have to lay

"Othello" Poem

It didn't have to be this way.
You didn't have to marry me.
We shouldn't have fallen in love.
Or was it more of a lust?

Why did God choose me for you?
Or did He choose you for me?
How are we supposed to get past this?
Or is it even meant to be?

I am willing to lay my life down for you
But are you willing to do the same?
Will you come with me into the heavens?
Or will you just stay here among men?

"Othello":)

I believe the purpose of "Othello" is to entertain whoever reads it!:) Also, it elaborates on adultery and how it can mess with people's mind. The reader, or movie watcher, feels like they are receiving a first-hand feel on whats going on in the character's lives.:)

"Ghost Rider"

This is a letter to Roxanne:

Dear Roxanne,
Not to be rude, but you are such a stupid woman! This guy left you in the pouring rain and ditched you on your date! Women like you are why we all seem so gullible! I understand that you lust him so much, but seriously someone else will treat you better! You are pretty and I guess you get what you deserve. I think you need to take a few steps back and look at your life and see if it is running how you want it to.

Sincerely,
Kimberly Coulter

My Character JimBob:)

JimBob is an average teenage girl with average parents and an average older brother. She is about 5" and about 125 pounds. She is 19 years old with a Chevrolet Camaro. She enjoys music, in fact it is her passion. She would like to be a band director one day! She is very involved in her church and is in youth choir. She got her name from her older brother who just really loved that name. She has brown hair and hazel eyes, which everyone is jealous of. She also races dirt bikes and four wheelers, and she hunts. She volunteers whenever and where ever she can. She's really close to her family and friends. JimBob also has a loving boyfriend who she was best friends with before they started dating.

The Lady In "The Wife's Lament"

Dear Lady,

Is it just me or are you way too dependent on your husband?
You listened to everything your man told you to do and everything his family told you to do.
I mean I'm all for respecting the person you're with, but there's a point to where someone is just controlling.
You just need to stand up for yourself, kind of like a lot of ladies I know that could do that.

Sincerely,
Kimberly:)
